Instructions

 

1. Brown the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium. Cook the ground beef until no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.

2. Sauté Onion & Garlic
Add the chopped onion and cook 3–4 minutes until translucent. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

3. Add the Flour
Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture. Stir and cook 1–2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.

4. Build the Gravy
Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

5. Simmer to Thicken
Bring to a gentle simmer. Cook 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gravy thickens.

6. Finish with Butter
Stir in butter until melted for a smooth, glossy finish.
