Quick and easy lemon peach bombs

1. Heat the Milk
Pour milk into a saucepan over medium heat. Warm until bubbles form around the edges—do not let it boil.

2. Make the Egg Mixture
In a bowl, whisk together egg yolk, vanilla sugar, granulated sugar, and cornstarch. Mix until smooth and lump-free, forming a thick pale paste.

3. Combine and Temper
Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture while whisking constantly to prevent scrambling. Pour back into the saucepan once combined.

4. Thicken on the Stove
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula. Within 3–5 minutes, the mixture will thicken into a smooth custard-like cream.

5. Cool and Use
Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Use warm as a filling or chill for layered desserts or no-bake treats like churro cheesecake.
