Strawberry Cheesecake Filled Donuts

Prepare the dough:
In a bowl, dissolve the yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar in warm milk. Sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
Add flour, salt, melted butter, egg, and remaining sugar. Knead until smooth. Rise until doubled in size.
Shape and fry doughnuts:
On a floured surface, roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick. Cut doughnuts and let rise again.
Fry in 375°F (190°C) oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Make filling:
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in strawberry jam.
Fill doughnuts:
Once cooled, poke a hole in the side of each doughnut. Pipe in strawberry cheesecake filling.
Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over filled doughnuts.

Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
Calories: Approx. 300 kcal per donut
Tips:
Make sure the yeast is properly activated for the fluffiest donuts.
Cool donuts completely before filling to avoid melting the cheesecake mixture.
